New Contender In the Fantasy Genre Looks Very Promising

Newest book by Sonny Gates is looking quite promising. Could it be the next Lord of the Rings?

February 10, 2005 -- This is a story of six Chosen Warriors guided by the good wizard Underdrake who is in conflict with the evil wizard Arlock. Arlocks way of wreaking havoc is through his creation of marauding goblins. Along with the Chosen Warriors come the six swords that were fashioned by Underdrake. These swords are handed down from father to son. The new Chosen Warriors have just received their swords and the time has come to defend the countryside. In this tale youll also encounter a colony of trolls, and a menacing dragon along with a few knights in shining armor. With over thirty characters in the mix the book offers action, gore, and humor with a light taste of romance.

About the Author
Sonny Gates was born in Harlingen Texas and grew up in the town of La Feria just eight miles west of Harlingen. He started writing in 1991 and has authored an eclectic mix of subject matter. He has also been a writer for a local entertainment magazine with a column called Infinite Universe and later carried a music review column. Sonny Gates is also a musician and songwriter of twenty-two years with stage and studio experience and is currently employed as a training director in The Rio Grande Valley. The Tales of the Kingdoms Farh, The Chosen Warriors is Book I, a series of books swimming in the pool of the fantasy genre.
