January 8, 2005 -- Prepare to meet face to face the ultimate action icon. Reliks Swords and Collectibles bring you David Carradine, in person, Sunday January 23rd at 458 Southdale Rd. E in London, Ontario, Canada.
Meet the star of Kill Bill and Kung Fu and have him personally sign any item purchased that day. Reliks will also be offering Hattori Hanzo replica swords. David Carradine's involvement in projects have spawned a large and devoted following, spanning over three decades his career has thrilled and captivated many generations of fans.
Reliks opened five years ago when Jamie Meiklejohn and Chris Howard developed a concept store that pays homage to our glorious past. When we started Reliks people thought the idea was crazy", says Jamie, "but once they saw what we offered they soon understood our passion.
Reliks relies heavily on the history of every unique item they carry. They took inspiration from the fabulous tales of knights and their ancient battles. Everybody loves a great story of the past and thats what we were going to give them".
Reliks started building a store that was not only a retail location but acted as a mini museum loaded with history. We wanted it to feel like youve stepped into a museum but still be able to hold a real sword or wear real armour.
Reliks searches the world for weaponry and armour that rivals the originals and brings in new pieces weekly to give their customers new experiences every time they visit. Reliks also focuses on the lifestyles of our past with items such as chess sets, a game with origins dating back to the 6th Century AD, jewelry, clothing and much more.
